Data-first security (one platform)
Find where your sensitive data is and who can access it, before you’re breached.
Most teams have security controls. The problem is you still can’t say, with confidence, where sensitive data lives, who can see it, and what happens when it moves. That gap turns into long incident work, hard audit questions, and risky AI rollouts.

What if your data could stay protected, even after it leaves your environment?
GuardWare Discover Proof of Value results in 24 hours (up to 1/2 TB of data).
You get a findings pack based on what we see in your environment: where sensitive data sits, how access is set up, and what to fix first.

UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 can apply significant penalties for serious failures, including up to £17.5m or 4% of global turnover for the most serious infringements.

This isn’t a “nice report”. It’s a practical findings pack your teams can act on immediately.

You can’t control
what you can’t see
Sensitive information spreads across Microsoft 365, file shares, old archives, and supplier hand-offs.
Projects end, teams change, and access stays behind. Labels help, but they are rarely consistent. When pressure hits, the first question is simple: “Show me where it is.” If you can’t, everything slows down.
AI tools don’t create the mess. They move faster through it. If permissions are broad and data is scattered, AI makes it easier to find and reuse what should stay quiet.

Why this matters for you
01 Financial Services
UK financial firms live under constant scrutiny. You have to show you can keep services running, protect customer data, and respond fast when something goes wrong.
Operational resilience adds pressure because boards expect proof, not reassurance. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has been clear that the transition period ended 31 March 2025, and firms must be able to stay within impact tolerances in severe but plausible scenarios.
The data problem shows up in the day-to-day: customer records, complaints, call notes, reports, and pricing models spread across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, email, and shared drives. Over time, access drifts and nobody wants to own the cleanup.
GuardWare helps by starting where the risk sits: the data footprint. Discover finds and classifies sensitive data across the repositories you choose (up to 1/2 a TB of data for the Proof of Value) and produces a findings pack in 24 hours. From there, you can move straight into implementation, add ongoing monitoring, or lock down high-risk files that must stay controlled.
02 Healthcare & Life Sciences
In healthcare, you don’t get to treat data as “just another risk”. Patient information is high-impact, and mistakes go public quickly. Research and clinical data also move across partners, labs, and systems that don’t always line up neatly.
If you handle NHS patient data or have access to NHS systems, the Data Security and Protection Toolkit is mandatory and is used to show that you handle personal information properly.
The hard part is that sensitive data isn’t only in one system. It sits in documents, spreadsheets, images, and email attachments. It gets copied into project folders, shared spaces, and “temporary” locations that become permanent.
GuardWare helps you get a clear view of where this data is sitting, what type it is, and who can see it. The Discover Proof of Value gives you results in 24 hours, so you can stop guessing and start fixing the places where exposure is most likely to happen.
03 Legal & Professional Services
For law firms and advisory teams, the risk is not abstract. Client trust is the product. One leak can damage relationships built over years.
Regulators expect you to protect client confidentiality. The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has published guidance on keeping client information confidential, and this obligation is central to professional conduct.
The Law Society also publishes cybersecurity guidance aimed at solicitors dealing with real threats like hacks and scams.
The data challenge is familiar: folders, bundles, contracts, discovery material, and expert reports spread across shared drives, email, document systems, and collaboration tools. Access gets messy because work moves fast and deadlines win.
GuardWare helps you find and classify sensitive data wherever it hides, then shows where access is too broad and what to fix first. If you share high-value files outside the firm, GuardWare can also help keep control when a file leaves your environment, so you’re not relying on “please don’t forward this”.
Start with evidence, then choose the next step
We agree on the scope with you first. Then we scan up to 1/2 a TB of your data across the repositories that matter most. You get a findings pack that answers three questions in plain terms: Where it is. What it is. Who can see it.

GuardWare Discover Proof of Value
A scoped engagement across the repositories that matter most, with timing agreed to match your environment and volume.
“We’ll confirm which offer fits in the 15-minute eligibility call.”
What you’ll have in hand after the readout
Where sensitive data is concentrated (the locations that drive risk)
What types of sensitive data are present (including surprises)
Where access is too broad (effective access, not theory)
What to fix first (prioritised actions tied to risk and effort)
How it runs
First, we do a short call to confirm fit and agree the scope. Then we complete set-up (typically around 2 hours, depending on environment and access method).
Next, we run discovery and classification across the agreed repositories. You receive an initial ranked view, then a readout that turns findings into priority actions. Then you choose the next step: implement, expand scope, add monitoring, or apply stronger controls to the files that matter most.

Start with the map. Then keep control.
DISCOVER
Discover gives you the map: where sensitive data sits, what type it is, and where classification needs tightening.
ASSESSOR
Assessor turns that map into decisions: a time-bound risk view plus a fix-first plan.
INSIGHT
Insight keeps you ahead of drift: monitoring that shows how data is being accessed and moved across common channels.
PROTECT
Protect is for “even if it leaves”: controls designed to keep sensitive files protected when copied or shared outside your environment.
FAQ
Is the Proof of Value a full deployment?
No. It is a scoped engagement designed to give you clear findings quickly. If you like what you see, you can move into implementation.
What does “results in 24 hours” mean?
It means you receive initial findings within 24 hours of the scan starting on the agreed scope. The readout session then turns those findings into a clear priority plan.
What do we need to provide to start?
A short call to confirm the scope, the repositories to scan, and the access method. We keep the request tight because the goal is speed and clarity.
Will you copy our data out of our environment?
We will scan the data in place on your system. If any transfer is required for a specific repository type, that is agreed upon up front, so you know what is happening.
Which systems can we include?
Most teams start with Microsoft 365 locations (SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive/email) and one “known messy” place like a file share or archive. The scope is agreed on the call.
Why cap it at 1/2 a TB?
It forces focus. You choose the highest-risk areas first, so the findings are useful fast. If the results show bigger issues, you can expand in a controlled way.
What if we already use Microsoft tools for labels and DLP?
That’s common. The problem is usually coverage and drift. This Proof of Value is about showing what is really there and where exposure is growing, so your existing controls can be applied with more precision.
Will the findings be too technical for non-security leaders?
No. The findings pack is written so Risk, Compliance, and leadership can follow it. It focuses on locations, exposure, and priority actions.
Do you help us fix the issues you find?
Yes. You can use the findings pack internally, or you can move straight into implementation support. The point is to move from debate to decisions.
What happens after the Proof of Value?
You choose the path: implement now, expand discovery to more repositories, add continuous monitoring, or apply stronger controls to the files that matter most.
How does this help with UK compliance?
It helps you show you understand where personal data is, how it is accessed, and what you are doing to reduce exposure. That supports accountability under UK GDPR and sector expectations.
