GuardWare Australia, a sovereign Australian cybersecurity company, has announced a global brand shift as it expands operations across the United Kingdom, Nepal and international markets. Effective immediately, the business will drop “Australia” from its name and operate as GuardWare.
The change reflects the company’s growing customer base and delivery footprint outside Australia, while keeping its roots firmly anchored at home.
GuardWare has established an office in Manchester (UK) and in Nepal, supporting customers and partners in multiple regions. The simplified name is designed to match how the company now operates: one team, one product suite, one global market.
The move comes as security teams face a sharper data challenge in 2026: sensitive information is spread across M365, shared drives, endpoints, cloud services and supplier ecosystems and AI tools can rapidly surface what organisations have already left exposed through messy permissions, poor classification or unclear ownership.
“GuardWare was born in Australia, and we’re staying sovereign Australian, but our customers operate globally,” “Dropping ‘Australia’ reflects the reality of where we’re delivering, and where we’re heading next.”
